CEREC Same-Day Crowns in Carramar

Same-Day Dental Crowns in Carramar

Modern dental technology like CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) allows us to provide one-visit dental crowns made right here at Diamond Smiles Dental. Rather than spreading your treatment over the course of two or more appointments, everything is completed on the same day.

How Does CEREC Work?

Instead of taking an impression of your tooth and sending the models off to a lab, CEREC uses 3D CAD/CAM technology to scan your prepared tooth and carve a custom crown out of a solid block of ceramic.

As with conventional crowns, your CEREC restoration will be custom matched to your smile for optimal aesthetics. The materials that we use are extremely durable, so you can expect a long-lasting restoration that is comparable to a crown that is handmade by a lab specialist.

CEREC Vs. Traditional Crowns

Do you need a crown? Consider the advantages of choosing a CEREC restoration for your next dental treatment:

  • Money and time saving
  • Metal-free restorations
  • Digitally designed for an accurate fit on day one
  • Durable ceramic that’s carved on-site

Why wait for up to two weeks for your new crown, when you can have a permanent restoration that’s placed on the same day as your preparation appointment?

Accurate Crowns Made in One Visit
CEREC crowns are digitally mapped out and milled on-site. The technology used for CAD/CAM restorations eliminates the risk of human error or changes in materials (i.e., warped or cracked models during crown fabrication). This unique feature provides an accurate fit that preserves the maximum amount of healthy tooth structure. Rather than taking a gooey impression of your teeth, CEREC uses 3D scanning technology to create a virtual replica of your tooth in the design software. That data is then transferred into the milling equipment in our on-site lab, where your precisely fitted crown is carved.
