Adelle embarked on a career in the dental field at the suggestion of her grandmother, who knew a dental assistant who enjoyed her job. As her grandmother had full dentures at a young age, she always encouraged Adelle to look after her teeth, which she did. Going to the school dentist as a child was something Adelle never feared and always interested her.

To prepare for her career, Adelle earned a Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting from Kingston Training (Dental Nursing Australia) in 2010. She also attended various Prime Practice seminars from 2011 to 2014 and completed her Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. That certificate qualifies her to train and assess other dental assistants if she wishes to pass on her knowledge to others in the future.

Adelle has had a mix of roles in dentistry over the years, and still enjoys assisting and reception work. She believes a good work team becomes like a second family.

“As many patients fear and struggle with dental visits, I find it fulfilling when patients gain trust in us and our job, and I see the journey of improvement in their dental experiences.”

Outside the practice, Adelle enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She also loves entertaining her toddler, who likes to sing and dance. Hitting the gym for a Pilates or yoga class are her other favourite activities.
